About Me
I am formerly the librarian at Shea High School in Pawtucket, RI. I taught English, Spanish, and Health for several years at Slater Junior High School and Shea High School. My love of reading led me to pursue a Master's Degree in Library & Media at Bridgewater State College. Upon graduation in 2000, I became the librarian at Shea. It was the best move I ever made. I enjoy helping students select books and assisting them with research. In 2011, I took an early retirement to accept a position as the librarian at Roderick Elementary School in Wrentham. At that point in my life I was ready for a change... change is good! A new chapter in my life began in September 2014 when I became the librarian at Medfield High School. I enjoy working in a high school setting.
I love being a wife and mother to three adult children, two of whom are teachers. In addition to reading, I enjoy gardening, knitting, cooking, watching sports, and playing with our long coat chihuahua, Tuukka.
